ONCE UPON A TIME
Once upon a time a hen laid eggs. Days later, the eggs hatched and beautiful chicks came out. The chicks grew, but one of them was particularly curious. Every day, it would sit at one spot and starred at a flying bird. The other chickens would walk pass the Curious Chicken wondering what it was looking at every single day. One of the chickens decided to ask:
What have you been looking at everyday?
Excitedly it replied:
The flying bird up in the sky
Why?
I wish I could fly like that.
You have a strange imagination. We are chickens, and we are not meant to fly like that bird.
But, wouldn't that be nice if we could? I can only imagine that the view from up above must be amazing!
I have no time for this. If I were you, I wouldn't waist my time dreaming. It is time for you to wake up and face it, you are a chicken!
Come on. lets try, it wont hurt...
I would not embarrass myself like that....
After it had killed the Curious Chicken's dream, it directed the others to join him in the mockery, and together they vigorously butchered their friend's dream. Being subjected to such humiliation, the Curious Chicken no longer trusted anyone and moved to a new location...
